The Latest Scam Numbers – Don’t Fall For Their Crap!

In todays Post I just wanted to give the warning to people about the phone call scams and offer a solution.

I decided to just flat out give you a list of scam calls that have attempted to reach me personally so that you know they are just wasting your time.

Here are the numbers and number of reports via truecaller app (I am sure these report numbers are much higher outside of the app worldwide)

Spam – 11 reports (850)897-1066

Tax Evasion Scam – 18 reports (818)659-0620

Domain Related Services Spam -89 reports (802)854-1150

spam – 89 reports (610)839-1894

Registered Pedofile – 244 reports (561)401-0061

Web Designer Sam India – 39 reports (347)293-0750

spam – 11 reports (213)465-6331

Sales USA – 97 reports (507)969-8688

I am not certain if the domain services and web design are legit or not BUT they should NOT be contacting you unless you have requested their information or opted-in to a form somewhere online.

So many people do not understand the difference between spam and not spam.

Email Non-Spam

If you receive an email from someone that has an unsubscribe link at the bottom – You opted-into a form online or this person would not be contacting you more than likely.

Email Spam

If you receive an email that says something like “Reply to this email with Remove Me” – This is spam, someone found your email address and sent you some type of offer. Possibly they didn’t even offer that. It may have just been an email with a link in it and you have no clue who this person is that sent it to you.

Phone Call Non-Spam/Scam

If you receive a phone call with the other person mentioning that you filled out a form online or that you contacted them because you were interested in more information about a product, opportunity or service, etc. They most likely did NOT obtain your information by searching for it. They obtained it because you shared it with them.

Phone Call Spam/Scam

Random Phone call received without any recognition of the caller or company associated with. 99% if not 100% of the time if they ask you to make a payment via greendot or some other prepaid card option, I highly recommend ending the call immediately. I actually fell for this many many years ago. Money deposited into my account, purchase and load greendot card…Give the info…My bank account Negative thousands of dollars…

Became quite positive in a couple of days after taking action and bringing the scammer to justice quite quickly 🙂

Note To Scammers: Don’t F$@K with me or you’ll be history quite quickly, lol.

Also another common scam is one that uses scarcity tactics like You will be arrested if you do not pay your balance due within 5 business days or call us today to make payment arrangements.

My mother has even received phone calls about having her car insurance cancelled

Note: My Mother does not own a car or even have a Driver’s License, lol.

Another common one is being contacted (usually through email) of someone offering you a large sum of money to be deposited into your bank account. This is used as a way to get you to give up your bank account details to basically then be robbed.

Also, Tax Evasion Scam is also common. Here is what IRS.gov has to say about Tax Evasion Scams.

There are so many different scams out there both online and offline.

I just wanted to make this post to help people be aware of some of the most common tactics.
